Adult Rehome
From time to time we may have adult cats which require re-homing. This may be due to the fact that perhaps they are not happy in a multi-cat household or they are being retired from a show/breeding program. However much we would like to keep them all, as they are all 'family', it is impossible to keep every cat and kitten and it may also be in their best interests to find them a new loving lap.
We therefore face the heart-breaking truth that some of our cats will have to go to new permanent loving homes. We are obviously very concerned that they go to new homes where they will be appreciated, cherished and well taken care of and that the new owners and the cats are happy and bond well. With this in mind it is our intention to foster cats with their new owners for a period of three months, where we can be sure they are all happy with the new arrangement. Only then will the formal process of adoption take place and the cat housed permanently with its new owners. All new homes will be thoroughly vetted prior to fostering.
Adults Available for Rehoming
Niamh aka 'Tids'
'Tids' is one of last years kittens from Andi and is a black/silver classic tabby. She was due to go to a great friend of mine and her family, but at the age of five weeks had a bad accident (her Auntie Cassie pulled a large picture frame down on top of her). She obviously had to stay until she was well again, however she has now made a good recovery, although she is still weak in her right back leg and has lost the feeling in the end half of her tail. She is now just over a year old now and is looking for a new home.
'Tids' is a huge personality (not an overstatement) and would suit a family with older children, perhaps with another cat of similar age. She must go somewhere with a secure garden as she is slightly disabled (although she can get around just fine and at some speed, thank you very much), however she would not be able to get herself out of trouble if she got stuck somewhere. She needs a home with people who are understanding of her condition and are prepared to put up with her flouncing about, her chattiness, wilfulness and fussy eating habits. So if that hasn't put you off and you think 'Tids' might be the girl for you please get in touch!!
Cassie is due to go to her new adoptive family as soon as her kittens are grown up
